There are entirely too many of us who have come to depending all too much on human confirmation of spiritual information. We are looking for signs and wonders to edify words, direction and promises that we have personally been given by God. Why does God have to continually prove himself to you for you to make a decision OR for you to take the first step when the fact that you even had the thought in the first place—as directed by Him—is ENOUGH! Since when does God have to “confirm” what He already sent?

“THUS saith The LORD!”

“And it IS written…”

Writing is placed on walls, on minds, on hearts, on tablets and everything else yet we STILL need confirmation. WHAT—if not confirmation—is something as plain and outright as a writing on a wall?

Stop looking to find in people, time or information that which you have already found in Christ and that is SURETY. Looking for certainty? You can gain it by taking ACTION. Faith without ACTION is DEAD faith, so allow your confirmation to come as a result of your demonstrating that you have already taken the first step by way of your faith alone. Let confirmation come as a result of faith AFTER you have moved on your thoughts and your prayers.

Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for… This leads me to believe that faith is SUBSTANTIAL. FAITH is SUFFICIENT! FAITH is your evidence meaning that the fact that you HAVE faith in any particular thing should be your evidence OF that thing. Because you already HAVE evidence, you should begin to ACT (again, this is because we already know that faith without ACTS is dead faith).

ACT as if it’s already there. Already done. Already HANDLED (as dear Olivia Pope would say). Now, how is it that Olivia Pope can rouse you more than your GOD can?! Imagine God saying, “It is HANDLED!” KNOW that it is already done! It is already alright! Not a soul questions the character of Olivia Pope! When she says it’s done, not ONE person looks for confirmation.
