Lady #KeKePalmer is an unexpected teacher in this book which highlights the blunders, limits, and dangers of self-constructs.
She highlights the MAAAAAAAJOR STRENGTH of having a positive relationship with one’s mother… a desperately needed open dialogue and example of how black womens’ relations with black mom’s can be co-productive.
KeKe challenges readers to expand our mind/capacity, build from the ground up (and work like you mean business!!!), be dedicated to grooming oneself as a master/ful professional, and owing and OWNING your brand enough to sacrifice external opportunities for the sake of legacy.
This woman is a powerhouse and master class all by herself!
The tenets shared within this book are worth study and mastery.
I highly recommend it to black women who want to get into reading more. (The rest of you may want to read it too, lol!)
